Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of ExpressZygo shipping services, website, and account. Please read them carefully before creating a shipment.

1. Introduction

Welcome to ExpressZygo. By accessing our website, creating a shipment, or using any ExpressZygo service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("shipper", "customer") and ExpressZygo Inc.

2. Definitions

  • "Carrier" – ExpressZygo or its partner carriers (USPS, FedEx, etc.) performing the transportation.
  • "Shipment" – one or more packages or cargo units moving under a single waybill.
  • "Waybill / Air Waybill" – the shipping document including tracking number.
  • "Recipient" – the person or entity receiving the shipment.
  • "Prohibited items" – goods that cannot be shipped under any circumstances (see section 4).

3. Shipping services

ExpressZygo offers various domestic and international shipping options. The features, delivery times, and prices are displayed at the time of booking. Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed unless a specific guaranteed service (e.g., "Next Day 10:30 AM") is purchased. We reserve the right to reroute shipments via any carrier to ensure delivery.

You agree to provide accurate sender, recipient, and customs information. Inaccurate information may result in delays, additional fees, or return of shipment at your expense.

4. Prohibited & restricted items

The following items are strictly prohibited from shipment via ExpressZygo services. Shipments containing such items may be confiscated and destroyed without compensation.

Category Examples
Dangerous goods (hazmat) Explosives, flammable gases, radioactive material, lithium batteries (without special arrangement).
Illegal substances Narcotics, counterfeit goods, stolen property.
Perishables Food, plants, biological material (unless cold chain service is booked).
Valuables Cash, jewelry, precious metals – must be declared and may require additional insurance.

For restricted items (e.g., alcohol, firearms), you must comply with all applicable laws and may need to use a specialized service. Contact support for guidance.

5. Liability & insurance

Standard liability: Unless additional insurance is purchased, ExpressZygo's liability for loss, damage, or delay is limited to the actual value of the shipment or a maximum of $100 per package, whichever is lower. Certain international shipments may be subject to treaty limits (e.g., Warsaw Convention).

Declared value / excess insurance: You may declare a higher value up to $5,000 per package. An additional charge applies. We do not offer insurance for cash, bullion, or extremely high‑value items.

Delay liability is limited to a refund of shipping charges, except where guaranteed service was purchased.

6. Claims procedure

To file a claim for loss or damage:

  • Notify ExpressZygo within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery) via email at claims@ExpressZygo.online.
  • Provide tracking number, photos of damage, and proof of value (invoice, receipt).
  • We will investigate and respond within 15 business days.

Claims for delayed shipments must be filed within 21 days. Approved claims are settled within 30 days.

7. Payment & fees

Shipping charges are calculated based on weight, dimensions, destination, and selected service. You authorize ExpressZygo to charge your selected payment method. Additional fees may apply:

  • Fuel surcharge – adjusted monthly.
  • Residential / remote area delivery – if applicable.
  • Customs duties & taxes – billed to sender or recipient as agreed.
  • Address correction – if address is incomplete.

All fees are non‑refundable except as provided in our claims policy.

8. Account & registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activities under your account are your responsibility. You must immediately notify us of unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms.

9. Force majeure

ExpressZygo shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, weather disruptions, pandemics, strikes, government actions, or carrier operational issues.

10. Governing law & dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of laws. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or shipping services shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Chicago, Illinois, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
